About Us
Mystique Images
Mystique Images was developed in May 2005, as a Photography Business, which uses the art of Photography as a tool to look deeper at the inner self. During this time, the owner, Kylee Sorensen graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology returning to Lethbridge AB to join a cooperative business. Kemmet Photography came together in January 2005. Lorne Kemmet, the original photographer, has been a full-time Portrait and Wedding Photographer for twenty-eight years. Lorne decided to try something new in his life, and was becoming a part-time photographer. He thought it would be a great idea to find other fellow photographers to share the studio space and the business. He was inspired to support and help future photographers in the industry with their skills and the business. During this time, Mystique Images was birthed under Kemmet Photography.
In September 2007, Mystique Images branched off and became more part of a team within its element. Mystique Images has expanded to bring more products and services into its new storefront downtown Lethbridge. Mystique Images offers Professional Photography, specializing in Creative Portraits, Business Portraits, Group Portraits, Weddings, Events and Commercial Photography. Other services offered are Video and DVD Production, Kundalini Dance, Reiki and Wool Dreading. Mystique Images also incorporated a small boutique into its space, featuring independent artists’ creations, such as clothing, art cards, wood flutes, jewelry, oils and more to come.
Mystique Images has united with two other independent businesses – Nirvana Energy and Angelic Soul Play. These two businesses compliment Mystique Images and the products and services that we offer. Mystique Images has also expanded and is now offering services in the Calgary Alberta region and is very open to travel. Kylee Sorensen - Photography

After two and a half years out of the same studio space, Kylee decided it was time to branch off and explore more of where Mystique Images wished to focus it’s direction. Now, the business has expanded and become more of a team within its elements.
With a new store-front dedicated to Mystique Images and the rebirth that has occurred for the business, Kylee Sorensen is taking a whole new approach to Photography. Kylee specializes in creative portraits, weddings, commercial work, fashion and event photography. Charlie Christensen
Video and DVD Production Charlie Christensen is a devoted family man who has been passionate about film since he was very young. He has been an aspiring filmmaker for many years now. Growing up with a fascination for movies and television shows, he naturally developed a burning desire to be a visual artist. After many attempts to make short movies in his basement, he found himself surrounded by likeminded individuals. Together, they began making short films. As time went on, Charlie found himself gaining the experience needed to produce video professionally. Charlie believes that being of service to others is one of life’s gifts. Capturing the flow of one’s memories and presenting them appropriately to the client is what he is truly passionate about. Charlie Christensen is honored to be able to offer his services to the ever expanding clientele of Mystique Images. Kylee Dawn Sorensen - Movement
Kylee Dawn Sorensen I have been exploring movement for as long as I can remember. Twelve years of my childhood was spent in a gymnastics facility, training forty hours a week. This experience brought mindless movement into awareness, teaching me of dedication, meditation and manifestation. In 2003, I enrolled at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology for the Photographic Technology program. Through this experience, I opened up to seeing more visually how humans move, how sometimes we can hold ourselves back, or fully express. The camera has been such a powerful teaching tool in my life, giving me a larger perspective on our species. In 2006, Ecstatic Dance was introduced into my life. I began
studying with Leyolah Antara – the founder of Kundalini Dance. After attending many workshops in ecstatic
dance, I realized that with my background of gymnastics and photography, I
would love to be able to offer a safe space for others to explore their own
movement. Our bodies have so much to teach us. With this being said, I spent
the winter of 2007 in The last few years I have dedicated my being to my own inner dance. With attending various forms of dance, ceremony, events and festivals, I have gained a diverse perspective of movement, sound, healing and arts. I feel very honored and privileged to be offering tools and the space to explore the inner realms. My experience of meditative movement has been transformational.
